Autumn has definitely arrived, cold and windy today with thunder and lightening. Nice parkas by the way! Keep on truckin and giving us boring people an insight into the world East of Dover! Hi Em, just had a look a the latest pics. Very good, I wish I was with you, no problems over finding you job, I'd soon get you out to work! Just as well as I am not with you, there would just be work, work work! Sorry I missed your telephone call on my birthday, but as you can guess I was out with the family, but thanks anyway. Sandy sends her love, just spent the weekend with her, my one and only holiday this year! Look forward to seeing you for New Year, although I guess you will either be out on the town or asleep. Take care of yourselves and be good. Lots of love scary cos Jack xxxx

Em And Damo
Hi Koots, just been looking through your latest photos -they're really good! It's funny that we've got one just like yours of the 12 apostles, except ours has got an extra rock in it! Glad you've had a good time in God's Country (that bit was from Damo) and hope you have fun in New Zealand -we loved it there. Just make sure you're careful when you drive cos we saw a few nasty accidents by tourists there. Things we loved in New Zealand that we would recommend are... adventure activities in Queensown, full day climbing Franz Joseph glacier (hard work but worth it), the Englishness of Christchurch, the smellyness and geo-thermal activity of Rotorua, skydiving in Taupo (over the massive lake, and it's the cheapest place in New Zealand to do it), caving in Waitomo, and if you get a chance, the diving in the Poor Knights Islands is amazing (but cold!). Have a great time and hopefully speak to you soon, lots of love, E&D xxx
Auntie Marion
Hi Julie - mum has been keeping me up to date with your adventures. Hope you are all still okay and enjoying yourselves. All is well here, cant wait to see you in the New Year. If you are thinking about what job to do when you get home MI6 are recruiting spies, I think you would make a good one, apparently they have disguised the job title by calling it some sort of analysist, but the 'word' is it is spying, are you interested. I am not mad honest, it was on the T.V. today. Looking forward to seeing what you think of New Zealand. You could possibly get work on the flower farm that Alan stayed on I will e-mail you the address. Take Care.

Kate's Mum
Kate - you were right, Price William, Richard Branson etc were all in Falmouth last week as it was Prince Will's friend that did the rowing around the world thing & they came to Falmouth to welcome him home! They then all went to the Chainlocker pub down in the harbour and were there for 6 hours - trust me to miss it all!! Mum xxx

Hi Merry Travellers, really good to see the latest photo's - it still looks so tough for you guys! I agree with Mum Lumm I wouldn't mind a few hours lying on Bondi Beach right now - it's pouring with rain here in Falmouth & feeling chilly! ......... Ah well, hope you all have a fun time on this leg of your adventure!
