We caught the 7am water taxi off Caye Caulker to Belize city. Then caught a 3 hour public bus to the Mexican border. We all met for breakfast in the lobby at 9am and went to a little cafe. We then headed to the split for a day of drinking and baking. Went on the Ragga Muffin all day snorkeling trip today. We met at the shop at 9am and everyone got fitted with their gear. We then boarded the boat "The Ragga Prince" and set sail. The first snorkeling spot we went to was called Shark Alley where got to swim with nurse sharks and huge stingrays and many different types of fish. It was incdredible. We spent about an hour there while the captain and his first mate fed the sharks to keep them there. We then got back...

Leave San Ignacio at 7:30am on public bus to Belize city. Arrive at Belize city at 11:30 and catch a water taxi to caye caulker. Arrive in paradise caye caulker. Wander around the island to see things and then head to have lunch. Head to split for swim and drinks (lizard juice). Pete and I spent the Arvo chatting and meeting people. Sunset was beautiful. Spent a relaxing day reading, on the internet and walking around San Ignacio. In the morning Ellie and I had a look at the butterfly garden that is at the lodge we are staying at. It was pretty amazing, huge bright blue, green, pink and red butterflies fluttering everywhere. Then took a taxi into town and had lunch at a little pizzeria with a sand floor. Spent the afternoon napping and then had dinner at the lodge. So excited for Caye Caulker tomorrow! Can't wait...
