After a lovely cinnamon toast breakfast Kelly and I went looking for some bikes to rent. After a little while we found some and rode out to the Tulum ruins and the beach. We locked the bikes to a tree and wandered down to the beach about 20 minutes from the ruins. I got myself comfortable while Kelly walked back to check out the ruins. After a couple of hours she returned and so began a vey lazy beach day in one of the most beautiful places in the world. At 12 happy hour began in the little beach hut behind us and so we enjoyed many mojitos for the next 3 hours. At 60 peso for 2 how could you go wrong. When happy hour finished we walked up the beach to find a new happy hour with no luck, so we came straight back to the first bar and resumed our day. At about 5pm we got back on our bikes and rode the 5 km back to Tulum and returned the bikes. Then went and had dinner at a little restaurant in town before making our way back to the hostel.
