Nessa and I headed off to Dirty Dancing in the city today. I needed a jacket before I went though so I thought I would just pop off to the shop quickly before we left for one but I ended up at the bank for nearly an hour as they had put a block on my card. Whoops. All ok though, they were just worried because it had been used outside of the UK. And luckily the banks open here on a Saturday and I could get it fixed.
So when I got home we got ready and headed to the train station. Well! We were lucky we were going into town as there were 80,000 people heading to Twickenham to watch a Rugby match. There were people everywhere at the station.
We got the theatre right on time and the show was really good. Very much followed the movie and the noises the audience were making in participation of things happening was very funny. The lead actor was no Patrick but they could all dance!
After the show we headed for a drink and then off to London Bridge to find something to eat. Ness's iPhone wasn't kind to us and led us in the the wrong direction so we did a little bit of walking but it was the path I used to walk everyday to work so it was a bit of a trek down memory lane for me. We finally found Wagamamas and had a lovely meal so it was worth the walk. We then headed back to Twickenham where all the Rugby fans were coming home from! Perfect timing!
