Soon after we were up and had enjoyed a nice breakfast in the hotel, we went to the Saddleback to see who was there to visit with. Checked out of The Highland this morning sadly disappointed in our stay there. It should have been a nice place with at least a little bit of personality. After a nice sit-down-and-order breakfast in the hotel, we took a driving tour of east Dallas. We first drove by the house where Jane was living when Philip was born. We went by a couple of years ago when we were here, but forgot to take photos that day. Next we drove by his childhood home expecting to photograph it, too. Drove to Dallas today and checked into The Highland for two nights. Philip made arrangements with one of his high school buddies to meet him with his wife for dinner. We met Marion and Diane at Seasons 52 in North Park mall and had a great time. The guys were able to catch up on what they've done for the past 45 years and reminisced a little.
