We made it to Koh Phangan in one piece. Which is funny really, because none of us know how to pronounce our whereabouts. And we only had four hours sleep. And Dom was still drunk when he woke up...

But here we are. Just had a dubious curry (question, tinned chicken?!!) so feeling even more sleepy than ever.

Found, by absolute chance, some stellar accommodation. Bit of a posh resort with a pool and private beach- Cocohut Village on Leela beach. Even though we have the most basic huts (and no ensuite-this would be acceptable if an animal of unknown descent hadn't fouled on the communcal toilet floor) we're fairly smug!!

Diving highlights of the past few days include: 

Passing our Advanced Open Water (night dive completed.) Lisa and I successfully navigating a 'Fun Dive'-even if we did end up half a mile away from the boat...Diving with sharks. BIG NIGHT OUT with big hangovers next morning.

Non diving highlights: The pancake man and his internationally renowned cuisine. 7/11 (despite ethical dilemma) and discovery of Tim Tams. A cracking storm. Massage of the coccyx-unsurprisingly painful...

Here until Wednesday before heading back to Bangkok for shopping, the Royal Palace, more Khao San and ping pong...
