Hi From Hong Kong

We are staying in a great hotel in Kowloon, on 18th floor, with amazing view of the HK skyline! Sat in a bar at the moment in the Ocean Cruise Terminal waiting for the famous light show to start after a long day trekking around Lantau Island, visiting the huge sitting Buddha. Yesterday we went wandering around Wan Chai, Central and Causeway, this place is a shoppers paradise (if you like that kind of thing) have seen at least 20 Chanel shops! however there are also loads of bargains to be had here too, if you want a suit (I obviously need one as every street corner a little Indian man appears, like mr Ben, and asks me if I want one) they sound like a bargain.

Most importantly on Xmas Day, Ally's birthday, we went to the Peak high above HK skyline, a tourist hot spot and famous landmark with viewing platform. Unfortunately it was very misty so views weren't spectacular however the main reason for me draggin ally up here was to ask her to marry me, she said yes. I did get down on one knee, I did have a ring and she spent the rest of the day crying and blubbing into her drinks. We celebrated by going to Soho for the afternoon drinking in an English pub before a lovely meal at the hotel (whole baby suckling pig complete with face...not for ally tho) afterwards it was up to Knutsford Terrace to get proper drunk...
