One week in Phuket was a wonderful break in the sun for Darren & I. We did a couple of day trips, including one out to an Island where one of the James Bond 007 movies was filled. I made sure all the trips we did included yummy seafood lunches of course ! I can't remember what beer we were drinking, but no doubt we had plenty of it, only to keep us cool after being exposed to the sun for so long ! I had my hair worked into plaits with lots of coloured beads, it took 3 ladies 4 hours to do this and I only had to pay them $20 AUD ! We went to an evening show performed by transvestites, they were very entertaining but one of them got quite 'b****y' outside later when Darren asked for a photo and he/she wanted too much money for it ! Finally, I made sure I got an oil massage which felt wonderful and also cost a pittance, before we headed home again.
