Darren came with our family for a holiday in Fiji, where they all spent a lovely time swimming and exploring the Island, whilst I spent most of the trip being very sick (now I know not to munch on ice cubes anymore!). There was one funny trip down to the beach where Darren & Jeff went swimming and came running out so fast I wondered what happened, only to find out that there were 'harmless' sea snakes in the water but they didn't know this ! They also went parasailing & snorkelling, whilst I just lay in a hut feeling crap. I did come good on one nice evening where there was a banquet (yes I like all-you-can-eat dinners!) and traditional dancing and folklore. We all tried Kava, a drink that looked and tasted like water that dirty socks had been washed in ! There was a memorable time when we went into a shop to buy lunch and Darren ordered his first, it came wrapped in newspaper which had been laying on the floor, so Mum decided against placing an order for our food and we went elsewhere ! By the way, Darren ate his food and didn't get sick !
