Gorgeous dinner last night in Sindhu, the Indian speciality restaurant on board. Fusion Indian really, but very well presented and delicious. We both felt that if we'd been served it for £15 each (cover charge) on land we would think we'd had a brilliant deal. The slight judder as we docked in St Vincent woke us up and dressing hurriedly, we came up on deck to find the green volcanic island of St Vincent, Cape Verde Islands spread out before us. The weather is really heating up now. Today it was around 23C and sunny with some sea haze. We are about 350 miles off Mauretania en route for St Vincent, Cape Verde Islands tomorrow morning. A normal sea morning: bridge and Spanish lessons. We are thinking we will have to stop Spanish because we find we are spending too much of the day inside. We now have two full sea days before we arrive in St Vincent, Cape Verde Islands on Thursday. We are still steaming SSW and every day picking up a few degrees in air temperature. Today, it felt warmer outside than inside and many people were sunbathing around the pools on the open decks.
