Can't believe that I have actually bothered to look at this site, what with all the work i still have to do (30 years to go till retirement!) - This means that I now have my "Don't have to watch the holiday videos" voucher.
How's Ayres Rock (none of this uluru rubbish - wasn't she the bird off Star Trek?)
So close but yet so far with the Grand Prix, but at least it meant that you could spoil our mum on mothers day, Alan - Liked the action shot of the Water Baby.
I haven't checked on your house yet, so you will have to take Nick's word that it's still standing, and that the party he had there hasn't caused any constructional damage.
Hint with flies - Don't wear white!!
Hope you continue to have a lovely time - speak to you soon.
D&K xx

So pleased to know that you are having a great time. Wish we were there. Hope you are surviving the heat OK and as you have been advised by others make sure you put plenty of cream on. We knew Allan would have to have a hat with corks, but we expect this is compulsory over there. Friday nights not the same without you.
I see Frances is still falling over in the sea - is this the strength of the Aussie beers? Weather here now 82F minus 50F. Enjoyed your messages and photos - have a drink or two for us and enjoy the rest of your vacation/retirement.

Mandie Pieter Mikyla And Danielle
Hi Dad and Frances,
Great to see the photos and read the messages, it sounds as if you are both having a wonderful time.
Here in Holland everything is ok.
Mikyla passed her 2nd dressage riding exam last week with very high points and also recieved her exam results from her 11+. She scored really well (a lot higher than expected) which means she has a lot of choice about which school she wants to go to next year.
Danielle is doing really well at school (especially reading) and also still enjoying her riding lessons.
Pieter is off to South Africa tomorrow for a week leaving me in a house with no furniture as the painters are here!
Hope you are both well.
Lots of love M,P,M,D

Sunday evening we are off to eat under the stars after watching the sunset on Ayres rock.
Happy Birthday Angela.
Hi Matthew and Abbie hope the weather in New York is not too cold. It has been 40c today. We had to keep going into the swimming pool to keep cool. We got up at 5.00a.m. to watch the sunrise on Ayres rock!
Allanandfrances
We are settling in ULuru, very, very, hot. Allan is wearing a hat with corks hanging off, and Frances is wearing a hat covered with a net down to her shoulders. There are a few persistant flys about. Off to tour and see the sunset. Up at 5.00am tomorrow to see sunrise. All good stuff!

Here we are again, now in the Blue Mountains having travelled through the Hunter Valley where all the wines come from. Yesterday we saw our first packs of wild kangaroos hopping in the fields. We did some walking yesterday. Just 900 steps down a cliff side into the forest then maybe 5 kilometres along to the skyride back up. Today we plan more of the same. Weather nice and sunny but putting plenty of cream on.
Christine
Hi. Hope you are enjoying yourself. Have a great time. Lots of love, Christine, Steve, Sean and Arron xxxx.
