I can't tell you how tropical it is in the UK at the moment; we've closed down all the businesses due to the astonishing heatwave and so all the office workers are sunbathing on impromptu beaches lining the Thames, there are palm trees waving in gentle breezes down the Kilburn High Road, I personally am so brown that my own mother doesn't recognise me and London smells of coconut and hibiscus flowers. Honest.

You know I keep saying that I miss everything exciting that happens at work. Well I was off sick for a couple of days last week and three people handed in their notice, I presume that the final straw was having to deal with everything I hadn't bothered to.

Lets hope you haven't had the opportunity to watch any of the rugby, cuz it's been Guff.

Not sure who's writing these blogs but they are very readable, much unlike the normal gushing "wish you were here" ones most people do.

If its any consolation, Calcutta is comparable with Heathrow today as a little gust of wind has rendered the whole country's transport system to fail miserably.
