Photos all look cool, looks a bit colder there than Blighty at the mo, thankfully my palms trees are giving us some shade at the mo. I'm off to go fishing for some red snapper in the River Wandle. Em - I did a surf lesson in rainbow beach and wa utter crap too. There's a great photo of me looking like a real surf babe but it all underwater tricks...
Dara - I worked at the MCG for the Comm games - It's a big place and I used to have do laps of thing daily cos of course everything was miles apart!!!

I saw this online and just wanted to complimented your thurough description of your stay at "The Spa" on Samui. I had always wondered what the whole thing was like.

I hope you liked Krabi - my wife and I just got back from a visit there and we loved it, loved it, loved it.

You are not the first one to find Thai Massage rough, of course, but be advised from a local (that is me) that you can ask for it to be softer, or harder, depending on your preference - that is the amount of force the massues uses is not part of "Thai Massage" - it is rather a matter of preference and if you are able to communicate with your provider! :)
