Ah! the frustrations, but hidden treasures of working in schools in Nicaragua. Our first week of work started as a five day week, became a 4 day week by Tuesday and then by Wednesday, half way through the day we were done. A mixed blessing. It meant only 2 and half days of school for the kids, but it also meant a 4 day weekend for us! So …

And I'm off! Here's to the second half of my year "off." After a relaxing (and extended) stay back in the states I'm off to Nicaragua where I will hopefully be able to put my Spanish to use. I'm horrible about sending mass emails, well I can't say I'm horrible cause I just don't do it! So for those of you who want to keep track of where I am and what I'm up to, this will be the place.
