Hi Alison,
I just read your message about your arrival in India to my husband, Andy. He said that the same thing happened to him many years ago when he was a college student and he went alone to study in Ecuador, SA. The people who had promised to pick him up at the airport in Quito never showed up. He felt pretty lonely and overwhelmed, but he made it -- and you will too!! A daunting experience for sure -- but how exciting and how much you will learn.
I'm so happy to be able to follow your adventures
Take care,
Susan

Oops.!! dont know what happened there but you have a blank message board from me.
Hope all is going just as you expected it to. I'm away for a wee while ( what's new I hear you say ) but I'll find an internet cafe and tune in to your blog.
Let us have the address of the place you are doing your voluntary work, I must let the children know in advance what a wonderful treat they are about to have, would also like to send something out to them.
