Just returned from Arran, it was lovely the sun shone all week-end and even nicer I came home to a postcard from you, thankyou very much it all looks very nice.

I also got your e mail and have replied in my usual lengthy fashion so find yourself a seat when you open it. Hope your cold didn't come to much, safe travelling and continue to enjoy. See you in 15 weeks!! I'm not panicking honest just very excited.

Sorry its taken me so long to add a message ... you have been away for almost 3 months now. Interesting to read your blog... sounds like you have had lots of ups and downs along the way .. more ups I hope !! Watch out for food poisoning from the street stalls . I think you made the correct decision not to have a tattoo .... risk of infections too high ( typical cautious doctor !)

Womens 10 K today ...amazing what some people will do to get out of running it !! ie you and Una !

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with tuk tuks and taxis.  It's only in Bangkok ... I see you were at the River Kwai - that's near the Tiger Temple - did you get to see them? If not, you have to go back! Chance of a lifetime to pet tigers ... take care and feel better! At least you can get lots of yummy noodle soup for your cold.

Hello Alison, I was just thinking about you , so thought I'd send you a wee message.Nothing doing here at the moment. I'm just cleaning my kitchen ( boring stuff) Then I'm off for a walk with Brodie.Big weekend at Loch Fyne Oysters, with the seafood fair on Saurday.Your Mum will be really busy. How about an email sometime. I have sent another parcel to the children in Darjeeling, aright mixture of books, teddies, cuddly toys etc..... I wondered about sweets!!!! but not sure about the heat etc. Anyway, enjoy your trip to Cambodia and hope you meet some OLD travellers like yourself!!!!!!! been busy since returning to Singapore. Manange to see our picture that taken in Penang. Check with Andrew, Hong Kong said that during the time you are going is very hot. Hello there Alison, Thank you for the lovely postcard from Singapore, nice tiger. You seem to be having a great time. I was interested to read about the wooden shoes. We went overseas yesterday !!!! ( to Arran) Neil, Laura me and Big Brodie. We went for a nice walk along the beach and next to the golf course at Brodick, met a lot of dogs!!!It was quite blowy coming back across on the ferry.I'm kept busy trying to keep the garden in order and cutting grass. The new shop is nice and roomy and bright, you will need to come down for a nosey when you come back home. Laura has a long weekend. We are enjoying looking at your photos, look lovely you are looking good too and getting very brown I see!!!! Maisies' house is sold. So looks like I'll have a new neighbour. Hi Alison it is Julie    your travels sound fascinating  - i am really quite captivated by them - keep going with the blog.

Things are fine here. everyone behaving themselves. Jean marie  is about to embark on her theatrical career soon - she has the part of the King's first wife in "The King and I "  - she has a solo love song which  she gives laldy ! She also has a part as a yummy mummy in the CCa's drama production too - so we are being treated to various rehearsals at present.

 The pressure is off at school and i am looking forward to just chilling out. Ed is getting quite good work at present , he was doing a glamourous photo shoot with bigwig photographer David Eustace last week. Today he is taking photos of Jane's sister  and seeing a woman about her wedding photos.
