Hello from Brasil, quick message to say I am fine, have just heard there was a huge earthquake in Chile and Bolivia. My heart goes out to the people there. Have just been to the Pantanal, so much wildlife saw alligators, tucan, storks and howler monkeys. There were so many brids it was fascinating. Enjoying Brasil so far, have to go for dinner write soon . The best lemon meringue pie I have ever tasted was in Bonito it was out of this world! We went to one of the rivers in Bonito and snorkelled down it . It was so claer you could see lots of silver and red fish and little ones cleaning the wood. The tree roots some were a lovely shade of purple. After we went to a park to see tucan, anteater, emu, alligators, anaconda and deer. Back at the hotel there were lots of humming bird nests the owner kindly emailed me a picture he took. I have some pictures but not very good. Going to Bonito we past lots of cattle ranches and saw some graucho cow boys, but I was on the wrong side of the bus to take a picture. There are lots of meat buffet bbqs in Brasil
