Lovely to read your blog, it really does give a feel of where you are and how life is for you. I think you are spending quite abit of time with poorly friends, hope they are ok and that you remain healthy. Granny Jean tells me you are shortly heading off to your job" Does that mean that all the fun will stop?? (hope not) We are all fine and keeping busy...sorry to report no chickens yet (tho definate progress being made) or beagle doggie (absolutely hitting a brick wall with this one)We have taken to taking Morse out for a long run with us, he just loves it, we let him off his lead and he is so well behaved tho he does like to run off with Heidi. Weather very damp and dank at the moment and quite cold, we are all waiting for the sunshine. Take care and go safely. Lots of Love and doggie kisses Arnteee Elaine and the gangxx

Hi Alice,
Thanks for the post card and all your news. I have enjoyed sitting reading through your blog imagining I'm out there! It brings back very happy memories of our trips to Thailand with the wonderful food and gentle people. Bangkok is such a frenetic city and assaults all your senses bit we loved it! W e are well here and easing in to the New Year slowly after a very snowy end to 2010, but we did manage a trip to Scotland for christmas and had a stop in the borders on our way home at a health spa. It was a lovely treat. There are a few good films out in time for the usual awards so we are going to the cinema quite a bit at the moment which fills the cold winter evenings! We have gathered together a few holiday brochures but havent made any arrangements so far. Your mum and dad miss you lots but are loving hearing all about your travels and I'm sure are very proud of your adventurous spirit. Keep safe and continue to enjoy.
Sally xx P.S James gets quite a few mentions on your blog??!!

It all sounds lovely, with clear sea and clean sand. Loved the video of the cliff jumping on Facebook. Such lovely fish too. Enjoy Bangkok. Lots of love and hugs, xxxxxxx

I wonder how you're getting on with poi, as you seem to have aquired your ball skills from me and so the results could be disastrous! Keep practising! Good to hear that you're earning a little cash, although I'm not sure that you're really gaining a feel for true work... enjoy it while you can, very relaxed. I'm still wading my way through Christmas chocolates and sitting around reading my new book; getting back into "work mode" is going to be hard. Love, hugs to you, Mum xxxxxxx

I hope that you're enjoying the watersports and a relaxing time on the beaches of Malaysia. We're still under a blanket of snow; lovely to look at although not good for getting around. It seems very strange not having you, or Emma, here in the run-up to Christmas. I'm sure you're missing seeing me build up to a panic or two!Lots of busy people everywhere, shopping for food and presents; quite a contrast to how it is where you are. Temperatures as low as -19C at night!! I've just managed to walk from Evesham to home, really hard trudging through the snow but it looks so pretty. Enjoy your stay on the island that you're now on. Love, hugs, kisses, Mum xxxxx

Hi Alice, I have got a little confused as to where you are now but don't worry about it. Thanks for your birthday greetings, it was a lovely suprise. You sound lke such an accomplished traveller. You have no idea how impressed uncle trevor and I are with you. I think the worries over what you will be up to at christmas are more about all of us missing you and feeling dead envious because for sure you will be up to something rather exciting. I love reading your blog Alice, more please.....or arrange for us all to join you and have some of the fun. Take care and go safely. Lots of Love from us in Mabbottland. xxxxxx

Well done; loads of news. Four days worth has arrived all at once!! It sounds as though you're regularly getting rained on, but still good fun. Enjoy the exploring. Lots of love Mum xxxxx

Come on Alice; we're waiting for some new news!! I know that you've moved on to Malaysia and it was lovely to speak to you at the weekend, but for those of us following this blog we need an update! How are you enjoying the warmer weather, or is it a bit cooler than you expected? Is it the 'rainy' season? A bit cooler here, with more snow expected in some parts of the UK. Christmas decorations are up; I needed your help, but managed with Dad instead. Last week of school for me, with card making, party games, carol singing to fill the last few days. What a life! Lots of hugs Mum xxxxx

Good to hear that you're getting some exercise on the bikes. A great way to travel around and see parts of China, I guess, as it sounds very crowded. So just what is "typical Guillan" food, I wonder. Have fun, enjoy the next part of your travels. Lots and lots of love from us all,Mum xxxxxxx
