Well in La Fortuna, myself and Sharon went to the Baldi Hot springs and had an amazing evening!! There were about 10 different pools, with three swim up bars and three water slides!! Some of the pools were too hot to get in really but we found a nice one that had a bar!! Expensive cocktails but they were worth it!! We got a cab back to the hotel and got an early night as our safari float started at ¨7:30am! Had peanut butter sandwiches and left to go on the trip. It was only myself, Emilia and Sharon and we had a guide that did all the paddling!! We got to see lots of birds, monkeys, a sloth and a small crocodile. We also got to see a blue jeans frog in the wild and many Jesus Christ Lizards!! We had about two hours on the river and then went for lunch. The food was exceptional, easily the best we have had in Costa Rica. There was rice, beans, fried yuca, a casserole and salad. There was far too much food though!! We got back and then went for a wander around the town, finding that it was packed with over priced tourist shops and not much else!! Chelsea won the FA cup today, but this was not as exciting as the Premier League but we still went out to celebrate at another rodeo, which according to Sharon was a much better rodeo, where they had different events and not just some drunken lunatics climbing on bulls!! There was also a fair on with food stands, it was quite like the fun fairs from home! We decided to leave earlier for our travel to San Jose as we wanted to have a look around so left at 10am and went for a wander and lunch in the capital city. We met for dinner at 7 and Dom, Jonny and Deb came too which was very exciting!! I got to hear about the rest of their trip and what else they had been up to. we went to a soda for dinner and then came and drank vodka by teh pool, as this was teh last night of our trip!! It seems crazy that my adventure around central america is over, a month has passed so quickly!! I leave San Jose today and travel up to the USA to start my next trip in San Fransisco. Its going to be weird being in an English speaking country again!!
