We are now in Zimbabwe, right by Victoria Falls. This morning we took a helicopter ride over the falls, which was an incredible experience. They are constantly surrounded by rainbows, as the sun shines through the spray, and you can see where they get their name 'the smoke that thunders'. This afternoon we're doing an adrenoline trip, which involves a gorge swing and a zip line across the gorge, which right now I'm not looking forward to at all, but I'm sure I'll be glad I've done it. Tomorrow is we do a lion walk, where you get to walk right up to lion cubs, and stroke them which we were all pretty excited about until we heard that a girl was mauled there a few months ago, but fingers crossed! Zimbabwe is a beautiful country. although one that really is falling apart! At the moment the exchange rate is about 8 million Zim dollars to one US, but two months ago it was only about 6 million to 1, and it's getting worse all the time. When you buy a drink you literally get a wad of cash about an inch thick as your change, and it's worth about 50p. We're here until Monday morning, when those of us who are carrying on on the tour head off to Botswana.
