The comforting country that was America is now over! It was short and sweet. There is not too much to say about Miami that hasn't been said before ... We went to South Beach, ate burgers, ate pancakes (beach bodies you say), admired other peoples beach bodies, saw the art deco buildings, went to wynwood (a kind shoreditch type place except with gun shops) and that was that. 2 days gone!
It was a strange place to be somewhere between home, holiday and travelling. It felt like a comfortable way to dip in to our travels. Unsuprisingly we didn’t see any backpackers!
We got to Miami airport feeling already like we were in South America. Most of the staff and passengers were Brazilian. Being one of few English speaking, we were sat in the emergency seats and asked if we would help if there was one. Rory of course was the ideal candidate! We luckily didn't get a chance to take them up on the offer with a smooth flight.
We are now in Salvador Brazil and it is hot hot hot! In a humid we're going to melt kind of way. The travel adventure really begins now...
