How is Sydney? Bet it's a bit of a change from the laid back coastal places you have been visiting recently. Is it a small city or very large? I will leave the boys to bicker about footie and I don't think you will miss the Charity Shield, but will need to check the dates. The England game isn't until Saturday 3.00 p.m. kick off here so that must mean an early Sunday morning one for you if my calculations are right. We will be in Manchester for the game so wearing red will be OK for once! However I will probably get a white version, more summery (not for girls I hear being muttered).I am just about to go off to a meeting so had better go. Speak at the weekend when we should hopefully have your little bro with us. Very warm here now and feeling really excited about the footie. Also Big Brother is keeping everyone interested, its a good one this year with loads of people walking out (three so far). All very summery now. Missing you. Lots of love Mum.

hey guys, I see the footy banter is still rumbling on despite the fact the world cup starts tommorrow and we are all meant to be getting behind the boys. Have found plenty of TVs showing the action, I'm staying put in Sydney for the England game coz I think there'll be more atmosphere here. Bought my $9 england shirt yesterday and will be wearing that with pride. I think the game is at a stupid time in the morning for australia but its just going to be one big party, everywhere is open 24 hours-awesome!! Fingers crossed everybody!! xxxx

There has been a serious fire at Arsenals' new stadium 'Gone for a Burton Grove'.
The London Fire Brigade are in attendance.
Arsene Wenger is reported to have asked the firefighters to 'save the cups'
The Chief Fire Officer apparently assured Mr Wenger that the fire had not yet spread to the canteen.
Marco
Alice, icant believe that you are missing the charity shield this year.
its the last year you will ever be in it.
Champions league final on a shoestring budget and created more chances with ten men then chelsea did for 180 minutes.
the futures red... arsene knows...
hope you manage to find a tv for the world cup...
take care

Cheers for the update dad, I can't believe we bagged all those quality players! Awesome! pretty gutted I'm missing all the world cup hype, its just not the same over here, they don't give a damn about "soccer", grr. And don't worry, I am eating properly, just cheaply xxx
Dad
Hi Al
Chelsea update.Got new season tickets sorted. Shevchenko, Ballack, Kalou, Hilario (Goalkeeping Portugeser) all signed for next season.
Left back still not sorted but the candidates are.. Roberto Carlos (Real Madrid) and amazingly.... Ashley Cole (Arsenal) rumoured in todays tabloids. Also CFC have won custody of Obi Mikel the african wonder lad who was temporarily nicked by Manu.
Arsenal by the way are being investigated by FIFA for having a secret stake in a Belgian feeder cub (Newsnight last night)and could be thrown out of champs league!!!!! They are just about to move to 'Gone for a Burton Grove' and have a new phone number
0800 WON NOTHING WON NOTHING WON NOTHING.
Have a great day darling. If you are short of cash let us know.....you must eat properly.
Love you Dad xxxx

hey guys, glad your all reading my posts and seem to know what I'm up to. I did like surfers, we had some great nights out and the weather and the shops are good but you've gotta see what I mean when I say its been a bit spoilt sarah? I dunno, its a fun place anyway. Didn't go to Australia Zoo coz it was a bit pricey, I've seen so many animals it was kind of a choice between that or one of the theme parks so the latter won hands down I'm afraid. Glad you've all got world cup fever, there's not the same atmosphere over here but I'll be down in Sydney for the opening ceremony and there must be some good bars showing all the action. Been at the beach all day trying to spend less money, it does flitter away, but Jenny I can't believe your going back in a few days (don't worry, I won't mention it, but arn't your parents in New York?)!! Have already experienced cheeky monkeys and going there again tonight for our $2 meals (thats 40p). Home still seems a long way away for me but its all flying by and I'm currently planning the next adventure, in contact with someone about teaching in Africa-awesome. Only 2 weeks left down under-booo!! Love you all, keep the emails etc pouring in xxxx
Jenny
So don't tell my family this, i know you won;t, but i have run out of money so am going home a week early to surprise them which officially makes it in two days time!!! Byron is awesome, you'll love it. GO TO CHEEKY MONKEYS!! and please don't email my website bout coming home early cos I'm surprising nick as well!
Mum
Hi Ali Sounds as though I am now going to be the only one waiting by the fence if we all go to a theme park! Glad you are still having a good time and the weather seems to be holding for you, more than can be said for here. It's been the wettest May for years and last night it was very cold too. Forecast for the weekend is better though, we are going to Aunty Kay's 90th birthday lunch in Hayling Island, 90 rocks, and so many of them!! Had Dad's Aunties and Uncles over on Sunday which was fun, lots of old photos and stories of Dad when small. Still all working very hard (except Jack, no I don't really mean that as he has exams this week). Can't get away from footie here now, everything is World cup this and Rooney's foot that. England played Hungary last night and won 3-1 and certainly in the second half played very well. Beckham looked awesome, as did Joe Cole, John Terry and Steve Gerrard, both the last two scored along with Peter Crouch. Only one more week before it all kicks off (ha ha sorry for the pun) and I can't wait (though of course I will have to). Soo many parenthesis...Not been drinking just been swotting up on my next computer exam and feeling rather light headed. Speak to you at the weekend. Love you lots. Mum
