Hello again, After writing my post this morning we jumped on the 9 o'clock tour round LA. Cost us $40 but I think it was well worth it. The driver was really good and gave us a guide of the whole city. Went to venice beach and watched the guys playing basket ball, then took the Pacific Coast Highway 1 to Rodeo Drive where we got out and walked along all the nice shops. Don't think the budget could stretch to any shopping though. even got to go to the hotel from pretty woman! Then went through Beverley Hills and Hollywood and did a tour of the stars homes. Most of them are completely concealed by trees and gates but others are suprisingly open. Steven Spielberg's property is just mind blowingly huge! Then the tour went to Hollywood Boulavard-the stars on the street and mann's chinese theatre before coming back to the hostel. really good fun. Wandered round Santa Monica 4th street which is really pretty and touristy-loads of places to eat and shop which is awesome and is also about 18 degres which is a massive improvement on yesterday. Gonna have a bit of rest and hopefully go to a movie theatre to see something that you guys wont be able to see until after we get home, ha ha.
