hello all! not much to report this week, have been working even more than previous weeks - we filled the warehouse and then emptied it all in one week. started at 6.30 on monday which is not something i hope to do too often! have spent today playing private investigator after i found out that someone has been using my old card (did i mention that my wallet was stolen?) and has spent around 200 quid. not too bad and i will probably get that back (fingers crossed...). i called the hotel where the card was used to see if they had a security camera; they did but they only keep the tapes for a fortnight which is rather annoying. i dont want to waste too much time sorting this out (i've already sacrificed a shopping trip to manhattan to play sherlock holmes) and plan to head up the hudson river and see some scenery tomorrow. the heat is not as fierce here any more which is good although the a/c is still out. nice to see some others are picking up on the sta travel journal idea - checked out bex's,em's and gemma's journal and was rather jealous of the whitsunday island photos (search for Gemma Durham to find the journal i think). after the news about fidel castro's illness i'm thinking of heading down to cuba to see it before america sinks its claws in..... if anyone fancies it let me know, would be good to see it while its still communist!
