Well we landed on time after a massive long time in the air. It really is a long flight if you don't do a stop over. Really pleased I was upgraded the first half of the journey so I had a bed. Not sure how it will cope on way home without this!
Found my way to the train station and purchased myself an opal card (like a Oyster card) and then headed to the train.
My hostel (called bounce) was just next to central station in Sydney by the time I arrived it was 6am. I couldn't check in till two so left my bag and picked up a walking guide. I headed down towards the botanical gardens. Such amazing gardens would love to take my dogs round here for a walk. It was here I got my first glimpse of the opera house and bridge. I sat in the garden a short while enjoying the view watching the early morning joggers.
I headed round the harbour towards circular quay and on to the rocks area of Sydney where I grabbed a coffee.
Feeling the tiredness setting in and not wanting to waste the day I jumped on the tourist red bus and did a full loop. It also included another bus which looped via bondi beach.
Slowly getting exhausted and barely keeping my eyes open it hit 2pm so I jumped off at the stop nearest my hostel and checked in. I had top bunk
