Just had a shower in this here waterfall. I've been in colder but the power in the middle of this one felt like ripping my head off! We've been walking about 2 hours and have 1 more to do today, it's not tough trekking and I expected more but it's enjoyable and relaxing so that's what I'm taking it for. The jungle (or forest? We're not sure on the difference...) is gorgeous, we saw a huge but beautiful spider earlier.
Everybody else here is pretty buff, and it was clear when I my top off at the earlier waterfall that a lot of sunbathing is needed! And it's all bulk and no brave as they pretty much ran through the waterfall at the shallow end. On the trip we have 2 Canadians, 2 Argentinians, a German a scot and a Brummie. I really like having English speakers to talk to because I do get sick of the language barrier after a while. Eg sitting in a taxi with a Thai driver; "no English", oh, okay then. It's a shame I've booked 2 nights for when I return because I'm ready to go party in Laos!

• Got the hang of Thai baht...
• Ready for a beer/whatever I can get at the "village" we are going to...
Food: Had a strange rice cake for lunch packed in a leaf which was filling. Not as good as this morning's cereal, fruit and yoghurt combo £1.10
