As you can imagine, our time in Fiji was pretty hectic. There's so much to do in beach paradise, that its hard to fit it all in between the sleeping, eating, reading, swimming... and generally slipping into 'Fiji time'. Fern Yeah i practically smothered my feet in it for 3 days. I smelt like a walking chemist. I've been working on my foot-tan. Although i'm starting to worry that it's tanned so slowly and for so long that it might never go away! A perminant reminder of my trip. Like a tatoo, but less glamourous x

Laura & Rich OMG Fern!!! I had 32 at one point and that was bad enough! Get some Tiger Balm!!!!!!!! 40 baht from any chemist! Nice tan lines from your Birkenstocks by the way, haha!!!! x

Fern I'm obviously just far more tasty than Alex. His feet stink anyway, don't blame the mozzies for not wanting to go near them. I keep suggesting to Alex that its time for a hair trim, but he's still trying to decide who he trusts to do it more - me, or an on the street cambodian or vietnamise barber. We're both toying with the idea of getting cool Japanese haircuts when we get to Japan. I might get some crazy harijuko hair style Garreth - are you getting excited? Where's your first stop? Remember to leave room in your bag for madge's new man xx

Rich & Laura Hi guys! Just been reading your blog n it made us giggle - loved the bit about women not being allowed to make a decision - 'too complex' (refer houseboat entry!) - too true in India! We're currenlty in Kanchanaburi staying ON the river Kwai - floating disco's keep going by which is hilarious - I wanna get on one! Be fun if you were here :). Thanks for the recommendation about a room in Chiang Mai - we'll definitely look into it! Anyway, have a fab trip - hopefully we'll bump into you again at some point! Keep in touch!
