G'day! We're now at Airlie Beach in Queensland and about to go out for our second sailing trip to the Great Barrier Reef. We did a trip out of Cairns too but Alex was so excited about the campervan he forgot to write about it in the last blog! It was a great trip called Passions of Paradise, just for a day but wonderful snorkelling and Alex did a half hour scuba dive too and saw a shark!!

Did some wonderful swimming in rock pools at the Jourama Falls, had the whole place to ourselves, going down natural waterslides (waterfalls in other words!) and diving off rocks. Had some fun navigating Townsville, but had a lovely time on Magnetic Island the next day. Then more snorkelling at beautiful Horseshoe Bay in Bowen where we bought our own snorkel sets and risked snorkelling without stinger suits and lived to tell the tale! Now about to embark on the Whitsunday Magic 3 day/3 night tall ship sailing trip from Airlie Beach, which cost quite a bit though we did get a last minute discount and it looks and everyone keeps telling us is completely amazing and worth every penny... will let you know!
