Hello all and Happy New Year! Hope you all had a great time and that 2009 is going well for you so far.

We watched the fireworks over Melbourne from the river in the city centre, it was packed but worth it! Melbourne was a lovely city, quite different from Sydney, quite a European city feel we thought.

We flew to Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand on the evening of the 2nd and spent the next morning looking around the city before getting our Jucy Chaser Camervan in the afternoon. Christchurch is a lovely city, lots of historic looking buildings. We are loving the campervan again, and the NZ countryside is even better than we had expected! Going to Milford Sound tomorrow on the Trips and Tramps tour and then up to see the Glaciers.

Will try and get some photos up soon, no USB on this computer and the internet is quite expensive too, hence the short blog this time. More soon...
