If this is a repeat---I apologise!! This perishing machine keeps freezing up,and I don't know if a previous entry is waiting to be entered or has disappeared into the ether.

Last day on the Seaventure Oil Rig---BooHooo!!! It has been fantastic--so good,in fact that I stayed an extra night---just to get some more dives in on Sipadan.

I've managed 9 dives on Sipadan,and 7 other dives.Everyone has been terrific,local ones mostly for the small unusual critters---Sipadan for the big stuff.

Every dive on Sipadan had sharks and turtles---on one occasion I even managed to swim along with 24 plus hunting Grey Reef Sharks---awesome!!!

But the shoals of Giant Barracuda and Jacks (Trevallies) was equally impressive--So big were the shoals that they cut out the light from the surface !!!

And I managed to swim right into the heart of each one---unbelievable--surrounded by huge fish---a silver wall of them,all around!

Equally impressive were the Bump Head Parrot fish---on one dive a troop of them...hundreds strong patrolled the Reef.They are huge Grey fish with a vicious looking Parrot beak(harmless though),perhaps 3 to 4 feet or so long,2 to 3 deep!!

Add to that the Eagle Ray I chased into the blue (getting myself lost and having to abandon the dive--but at least I got a little bit of video)---the sleeping Leopard Shark,and all the fish soup of reef fish that cover most of the area like a cloud.

I'm off to Kota Kinabalu(hopefully-bit tight on time for reaching Airport) and on the first it's off to Bali via Kuala Lumpur.I'm hoping to be collected at the Bali airport and whizzed up to Tulamben to continue my diving tour.

Amazing how quickly you make friends on these tours---David and Lilo have become firm friends--I hope,and the Videographer,Jonas says he'll miss my dancing and singing during the dives----well,you get bored on the safety stops,don't you?

All in all---an incredible experience,and probably some of the best diving I have done,

Next Blog will probably be from Bali----that shouldn't disappoint--never has before!!
