Healesville picnic races was fun however despite my caution in the last week, I finally got burnt. I have a burnt shoulder, burnt nose and forehead and have become a red rooster. Red roosters are an Australian KFC.. I had a chicken wrap in Hungry Jacks tonight for dinner which you guys would call Burger King. There is ironically a connection between Burger King and horses ie the discovery of horse meat in their burgers.
Although I have been super busy busy with the picnic races and bowling, my blog doesn't across as interesting. This is my second weekend in Australia and I can say that I am settled here. Not that I have fully been out of my comfort zone especially with moving from family to family but my insight to Australia city life brings nothing more than excitement. I never put myself down as a beer drinker but I am liking the taste of Aussie beer. I have started to feel older and maturer in these last few years but I hope Australia can bring me back to the world where I can have a laugh and enjoy more than just a diet coke and people watching.
