Yup I am starting every blog entry with the title of a Bruce Willis movie.

So right now I'm sitting at my computer trying not to freak out that in 3 days I will be a plane somwhere above Asia on my way to China. For some reason the whole process of selection and training and packing hadn't really made me aware of how real this whole entire thing is until I sat down to day and actually thought about it. So incase you didn't know I will be spending a year in China with my partner Ben (who I love very much) through the Charity Project Trust. We're gonna be teaching a bunch of Chinese kids english hopefully, in a small town in Xinjiang called Ba Gang.

Hopefully I will be able to update this pretty regularly on what we've been getting up to and all the fun anecdotes involving my Social Awkwardness and Language Barriers. Apart from that I would just like to thank any one who supported me in my fundraising and all those who seemed excited for me, it really meant a lot. Sorry for a really bad first Blog but anyways, in the words of Holden Caulfield
