Sue At long last I get to look at your blog - thanks Alan. Sounds like you are having a great time with plenty of adventures. Hope your feet are better Alan cos they look decidedly unwell in that photo! Hope you are having good run to Akaroa.
Judy What fishy stories we are hearing!!! And, oh that weather!! One day we thought we might sail to NZ on Ka Mate .......mmmm , if this is the right time of the year ......one doesn't like to imagine what might happen at the wrong time of the year!! Yep, looked at Cook Strait weather for the weekend......nasty stuff!! 55 knots no less........surely nothing that Towai and the GOM can't handle!!!! Nice and calm here on Ka Mate, albeit raining and humid. Hang in there boys........it's all in the name of fun!!!!

Judy Wilson Now you'll have worried them Sue.............a lurking crab!!!! It doesn't bear thinking about!!!!
re: Random Blog - The PisseridooSue Well I am a bit pisseridooed off cos I thought you guys were tough and hardy, and no matter what the atrocious conditions were, would go outside without a second thought and do your thing without man-made aids:-) To avoid that nasty spray just go to different sides of the boat. Have you thought about how you would explain to A&E staff how you came to have your 'thingy' stuck up a piece of PVC-U tubing, but I would love to be there should it ever happen :-) Hope when you wash it, a crab is not left lurking in there for the next user ... ouch!!!!
re: Random Blog - The PisseridooJudy We have the patent on the pisseridoo (actually it's a didgerweedoo) - Ka Mate has been sporting one for a couple of years now......haven't come up with a design for the female crew...namely me and Rosie!! Judy

re: Doubtful Sound to Dusky Sounddonna seems your trip has been eventfull and full of memories, interested in video diaries when will these be published. much love to you all xxx
re: Doubtful Sound to Dusky SoundLala I am so jealous seeing all those seals and whales. Not sad I missed you catching those fish though
re: Milford Sound to George SondLalaI Happy birthday poo, hope you're having a good one . Love and kisses Lala and Jindixxx
re: Off West Port, New ZealandJudy Judy says hi to you all.........mmmmm.....those feet look a little unhealthy.....nothing you ate is it????? You know what they say about eating too much fish.....you'll grow fins....watch out that's not the next step. Love to Geoff and wishing you fair seas and clear skies!!
re: Off West Port, New ZealandLala I think you just put your legs on upside down. Don't forget to put legs up the wall occasionally. Should work a treat. Meals sound first class, it's going to be a shock to come home to meat and three veg. All is well over here in sunny Tas. Hope all the other G O M are behaving. Xxx
re: Off West Port, New ZealandCorliss Wagstaff I'd love to be an inconspicuous fly on the wall so to speak, listening to the 4 grumpy men and the dialogue between you all. This all sounds like real fun and the kai real good, while I'm eating mince on toast. Look out Alan you are out numbered, but this could be a good book in the making or even a film. Keep it up I'm watching.
re: West Coast South Island, New ZealandPam Wilson Wow, that does sound like an exciting start to the trip, but you all seem to be reaping the rewards with great tucker and scenery. That's a big grin you are wearing in the photo Marty! Have fun, Poppy. Reece and Kai are keen to see the fish you catch... can't see how on earth they are going to beat the big monsters you normally catch though.
re: West Coast South Island, New Zealand- last visited
