After 29 hr on the road we finally made it to Luang Prabang (Laos) from Chiang Mai (Thailand). After a car journey, tuk tuk, mini van, speed boat and then a coach we were stopped by 3 lorries blocking the narrow road delaying us for 7 hr and I guess they are still there. How plans change. We were all set to leave Bangkok and head to a few islands in the south of the country only to find how they have had the worst rains and now floors in the last 10 years. Thus killing our plans to spend our last month on a beach. After some hard thinking we are now heading north to the sunshine (Chiang Mai) then across to Laos to Vietnam.

Thailand, a land of the weird and wonderful. And free wifi, I have now been able to upload the last 5 weeks worth of photos. It's made me realise that we have been traveling non stop. Well this next week is for the beach and a good book.
