Our first day in Mui Ne was a mixed day, either we were both really happy or really sad amd neither of us realized it until that night sat in a bar on the beach front (yeah I know how horrible for us?!). The day ended well though, other than Sarah hogging the bed (she's got it down to a fine art now as I don't notice till it's too late).
We awoke the latest we have for a while, it was 11 O'clock, and decided after breakfast to do what we would end up doing for the rest of our stay in Mui Ne, and relaxing by the sea or at a table outside of our room. When down at the sea all you can see for as far as the eye can see is kite surfers. It's an odd sight.
As our hotel is on the beach we spent most of our time reading and then running into the sea to cool off. The waves were even bigger than Hoi An so even more wave crashing ensued.
Other than relax the only thing that we did in Mui Ne was eat. We found a great little restaurant called Smoky House (no I have not spelt it wrong!) which barbequed fresh fish. The first time we had a delicious Red Snapper which was so tender and so good that we went back the next night. As Sarah had never had lobster (and you can order in grams) we ordered what we thought was A lobster. The waiter then showed us our lobsters (plural) before they were cooked. We were definately surprised to have one each. The general concensus was that lobster is gorgeous, shame it costs so much!
Sarah has found that she loves drinking fresh coconut juice (from the coconut) so everywhere we go she has to order one! All in all Mui Ne has been an incredibly nice and relaxing place.
