Day 22: Tueasday 8th March - Hanoi. By Chris.

We woke up early and had a great buffet breakfast before setting off to visit the 'Dead' body of Ho Chi Minh. I say 'dead' becuase loads of people claimed that he was a wax work figure, I couldn't make up my mind, but whatever he was, it was really weird!

The rest of the day consisted of us visiting a Temple of Literature which proved to be pretty cool and not atall like a Library which I had initially thought!
We explored the rest of the city on foot and ventured through the many streets of local markets and busy backbacker hostels/bars before stopping for lunch and meeting the 2 most annoying Cockneys known to man! Literally did my head in!!!

That evening we went to the traditional water puppet show which was ODD! A very strange experience but definitely one worth going to!
After that we went for some street food (our favourite!) and then went to a Pub Quiz as it wasd the last night for some of the group, and we wanted to send them off in style. 'Style' it was not, grotty, smokey ex-pat pub it was, still it was a good laugh and good to spend some more time with Alan and Lorna before we left them the following morning.
