Day 6:
This morning we all had a lie in, ( or everyone else did, I was coughing) popped to a cafe for a breakfast, then hopped on a bus to Palion del Diablo, or the Devil's cauldron, which is a huge and famous waterfall just outside of Baños, you have to walk for a kilometre down a rocky path to get there, and entry is $1.50 but I would have paid so much more. You go up these windy steps right next to the waterfall, and some bits are just caves that you have to crawl through because the ceiling is so low, at the top you can get right behind the waterfall (if you're willing to get soaked; I had my trusty poncho) and you can go all the way down so that you're practically standing under it. The falling water reflecting in the sun created rainbows everywhere, although I'm not sure my camera was good enough to capture that. It's a truly amazing place.
In the afternoon some of us went paragliding, we left the hotel at 2.30, but the wind was 45km/h, and you're only allowed to paraglide if it's under 30km/h and so we had to wait until about 5.30 for the wind to die down. Luckily out guides brought music, and so we're were singing and dancing on top of an extremely windy hill for a few hours, also got in a spot of yoga
