Last few days were relatively uninteresting...there's not much to do after queenstown. Or maybe the place is so good it makes everything else seem bad? We got to kaikora and I'd planned a dolphin swim but it got cancelled :( so we just watched 400 films and went and found a nice bar and I drank 6 cups of tea? Never heard wind and rain like it on the night i was convinced it was a tornado! Was talking to a bloke who has hitch hiked around the world the next day...

last day in queenstown we took a trip to cardrona to try snowboarding for a day. Began our lesson on the little baby slope...basics being taught about the edges of the board..heels and toes..i liked the baby slope and seemed to get it. This week has just been wonderful!! We have drank a lot and explored a lot. we decided on a day when the weather was awful that it would be a good idea to hike the vertical mountain here..because we are clever like that..so off we trotted..it was harder than it looked my legs still hurt! it was raining and then half way through that turned to snow...i had my hiking boots on and mart had slippy pumps..we stopped at the top for some drinks and mart wanted to get...

Wanaka is the most beautiful town ive ever been to. the drive to it was outrageous...we went to lake mathesu ive never seen anything like it. its literally like a mirror image of the mountains and trees and ive never seen a lake so stilll....made for good photos...canvas worthy!
