Left blue lagoon gutted to go headed to korovou island by far our least favourite. The bathroom in our room looked like it should have a dead body in. The staff were friendly but mart got really sick so slept a lot.
I decided to make some mates and went on a manta-ray trip. Wow!!
They basically dropped us off in the middle of the sea in a really strong current we Saw a manta-ray and swam with it for ages they are hugggggeeee!!! Had a break as swimming against the current is hard work and he took us to the most amazing coral everyone there said it was far better than the barrier reef. Had some crab racing we went for the biggest and if lost miserably.
We left korovou for safe landing resort. Just for a change it turns out that here is our favourite!
Our hut is on the beach with the most incredible view of the bluest sea right from our bed! Met the coolest couple ever mel and nick. Mel is from of and nick from Kent. Turns out he knows loads of people I went to Uni with and we now have a place to stay in Melbourne! Mel is a police officer bu shes so cool covered in tattoos she has a sleeve! Entered some crab racing and won then had a bonfire on the beach and drank some cava. This morning we woke and went for a walk to find some coconuts an made ourselves some jewellery..turned out quite well considered I had to use power tools and sand paper! Us 4 then got masks and a spear and went on the hunt for fish. Couldn't find any typical. Sunbathed for a while and nick and mart went out again they swam so far out I couldn't see them but fair play they returned with a big fish on their spear were having it for tea. Me and mart climbed a hill to watch the sunset and disaster struck...cameras broke. My beloved camera :(
Here comes the emergency credit card I think. Thank the bloody lord it's the last day of Fiji I'd have cried if not. Got a day just travelling back to port tomorrow and fly to Auckland the next day. First stop buy a new camera!!!!
We ate the fish the boss had caught today 42k! Played some games won some prizes an then cava time. Blooming strong it was my whole mouth went numb! So sad to be leaving Fiji amazing place xx
