The Horsetooth Hang '08 was a BLAST! The first part of the day, I had to hunt down someone with an extra harness and belay device. Then the team had to head off in a van down to the Piano Boulders. Unfortunately, no one showed up to climb the entire time we were there since everyone stuck around the main area and taking a van to get to somewhere was too much of a hassle for most people. I guess I'll start with today: The Sustainable Living Fair was really slick! They had a lot of interesting products and promotions like messenger bags made out of old billboard signs, how to build eco-friendly homes from scratch, co-op groceries, and outdoor appreciation campaigns. I was lucky enough to get in for free AND eat a ton of delicious pie to judge who made the best pie in Fort Collins! Alas, Nate had to stay at home to pack to leave for his second wee...

Yesterday was the Tour de Fat with the New Belgium Brewery, there are a ton more pics in the photo album if you want to check them out. It was a BLAST! In my opinion, even better than the 4th of July. On another note, Nate leaves tomorrow for the San Juan mountains for Field Instructor training. He'll be gone for 8 days and then back for 6, which will be his work schedule for a long while now. We'll miss eachother, but this is such an awesome opportunity for him...
