It has been a write off of a day, with both of us getting ill.
We have tried to do a couple of things to make the most of the day but both feeling under the weather we have struggled.
Having booked our bus tickets out of La Paz to Copacabana in the morning and a couple more domestic things. We went shopping to make the most of the markets and options that the witches market had to offer.
England were playing Scotland in a friendly football match so we found an English bar to watch and both had bangers and mash as we are starting to miss food from home.
Abigail choose not to watch the football and went shopping for a couple of new bags instead. She missed out as Ricky Lambert (Southampton striker) scored the winning goal on his debut although I expect she had more fun shopping than she would have done watching football. We meet back at the hostel after where she has bought a colourful new rucksack for herself and a really nice leather bag for her mum.
It was nice to have wifi to catch up with people from back home too as we were both feeling a little home sick.
