So it has been a while since I blogged and I apologise, but between Cathy visiting for 10 days and having exams it has been a little busy here. Cathy arrived on May 1st and slept on the couch in my apartment for 10 days. It was so much fun having her here and getting to show her all the wonderful things that Chicago has to offer. So it seemed like Chicago was coming out of winter and into summer time. We had beautiful weather last week with sun splitting the skies and temperatures in the mid 20's. It has been a busy 2 weeks, which is why I haven't been posting since then. I have had a pretrial conference, an arbitration and my final trial this morning. I have now finished my trial ad class for the year and my last dispute resolution pracitcal. Now I have just to finish up my assignments for the other classes. I have also been interviewing like mad. I have been offered a job in Kansas with the American Civil liberties union, so fingers crossed I'll get one...

well I am now back in Chicago, in the rain :( Phoenix was so amazing I didnt want to leave! On Sunday I had a lovely lie in and then a swim in the pool before working on my assignment while sitting in the sun. In the afternoon I took a 3 hr horse ride through the hills of North Phoenix. It was absolutely fantastic. I had to learn how to ride in a western saddle - getting on and off is so much harder! We rode for 3 hours on tiny windy trails built into the sid...
