After 10 hours on an overnight semi cama (reclining seat) bus, with a large man who took up half my seat and proved to be a bit over friendly (weird I think is the word) from Mendoza, I arrived in Cordoba (Argentina's 2nd largest city after Buenos Aires). Out came the sun and we hit the road for the Andes mountains where I did some trekking, abseiling and rafting. The base camp was at the foot of the mountain and next to the rapidly flowing river, making it an idyllic retreat. The mountain range was just awesome, again different from what I've seen before. I am loving the outdoors here!

Explored mendoza a bit, was much larger than I expected. There were numerous parks and the vinyards are located about an half an hour's drive outside of the city.
