After one full day and two nights in Cartegena we were on the way to Santa Marta, Dreamer's hostel. This place reminded me so much of El Viajero and lived up to its name. The pool, hammocks, bar and rooms were so lovely and could have been El Viajero ;). We explored the surrounding area. The evening we met two Kiwi chicas, I had a swim and played some pool. Being back in Columbia was good, however the hostel we stayed at in Cartegena left much to be desired. They also seemed to have a problem with communicating with their guests. They were really rude to Lisa on check out telling her that she did not pay because they couldn't trace her payment. Eventually they concluded it was okay and told her she is "free to go".Sure it may have been a great place for most people who advised us to go, however it was a disappointme...

Our taxi picked us up from Medellin's Happy Bhuda hostel at 4am and off to catch our 6:30 flight. On check in with Avianca after a long wait the attendant checking us in said we had to go to the tax booth, which we did and came back with a tax receipt. The attendant took the receipt and asked us to follow him to the cashier booth, which we did, ready to pay. It was dark and raining when we arrived, but we had a most amazing BBQ meal at the restaurant of the hostel which was the perfect comfort food. We decided that it was ideal weather for a movie and an early night (while we can).
