Hi everyone

We arrived in Memphis and stayed right near to Graceland which made it a great start! The drive from little rock was only 2 hors so we arrived early which meant that we could go out and explore...well Linda did but lee and i just caught up on some sleep as the last few consecutive driving days took it out of us!

The next day we did the famous Elvis' home-Graceland. We started by doing the grand tour of his mansion which was really cool....it showed off all of his private collections of his jumpsuits for his concerts and all of his gold records. We got to see all of the famous rooms like the jungle room. The house was not a s big as i was expecting but he bought it at 22 and this was like 50years ago...so i guess it would have been massive back then. Still bigger than our little place anyhow!

We then went to his car museum which was filled with all of the cars and motorbikes that he bought in his life! It was really cool and we saw his famous pink cadilac which was great. After we went to see his two planes that he owned...they too were very reagal and fitted out with gold interior and a bedroom. It was very cool! Actually i am lying...it was baking hot that day!

We also saw an exibition all about about his army days and also one about all of his costumes which had an awesome display of them all!

All in all we had a great time in Graceland and Memphis! It was busy but really good!
