Ok, 0300 start and 0600 take off. Plane was half full so we had a whole middle row to ourselves. Looks like this is the benefit of the early flight.

Back home and no problems with customs. Interesting landing as there was a strong easterly blowing and looking at the forward camera we obviously came in sideways with the pilot giving it a flick as we touched down.

Off to the Dubai Mall today to see the Dubai Aquarium. It's pretty impressive given that it is in the middle of a shopping centre. It has the Guinness World Record for the largest single piece of acrylic. Lots of Grey Nurse sharks, rays etc. would like to see how big the overall tank is as you can do your whole. SCUBA course in it!! Upstairs they also have more exhibits such as croc's, otters and penguins, again surprising to think it is all in a shopping centre....

Visit today to Hawkinge RAF Museum and the Battle of Britain Memorial. The museum is full of recovered pieces of aircraft that have crashed in the area during the war. Most of which have been researched and have details of the pilots involved and the circumstances of the crash.
