HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINA!!!

It feels like we've been celebrating G's Birthday for a week which is because we have; I guess she's just that special.

The actual day arrived at midnight on Thursday night which is the night we got back from Perth. That evening we caught up with the CBSi Sydney crew for an innocent enough Happy Hour which turned into meeting the Bondi crew at their weekly Texas Hold'em game which turned into staying up to celebrate the moment the clock struck 12 signifying G's big day which turned into a late night back in the Ling/Whyte kitchen. What can I say? These things happen.

After over a week of celebration, the actual birthday was quite mellow. A few walks with Doodles, late breakfast in Bondi, some online time to get sorted for the impending jump to Mexico. We just took it easy. I think I can speak for Gina in saying: it was great.

We were even a touch late getting to the Norfolk Hotel which is where we had planned to meet everyone for a final quiet night out. We had a great meal and great time catching up with a bunch of the Sydney team for one last time (on this go round, anyway).

Again, gotta give shouts to all of Team Sydney for being great friends and for making the effort to get out to see us while we were in town and especially to MW, GL and Doodles for being awesome hosts.

A special shout out to the birthday girl, Gina Marie. Not everyone gets a 10 day long birthday party...but like I said, you're just that special.
