I wasn't to be in Adelaide for long, just one night in fact.
I arrived and checked into the Shakespeare Backpackers, which wasn't the greatest accommodation I have ever stayed in, it took me nearly an hour to find a plug to charge my phone, maybe I was just going blind. That night I planned to just chill out with a beer or two at a local Adelaide boozer, but for some reason everywhere was shut on a Sunday. The person who gave Adelaide the nickname Radelaide obviously wasn't there on a Sunday night so I took myself off to bed and watched a film.
The next I woke up and checked out but I still had to wait to late that night for my flight to Melbourne so I decided to check out their zoo. After seeing all the various animals, the highlights being the meerkats, Emu, Kangaroo, Giraffes and Panda's. Apparently it is the only place you can see Panda's in Australia. After the zoo I made my into town where I had an awesome burrito in a place called Burp and then made my way back to the hostel and chilled out until flight time.
I arrived at the airport pretty early, two hours before boarding, so I made a start on this blog and then went and checked out the drinking establishments for a bevy or two. Before long it was time to board. The flight semt like it only took about half an hour, it was easily the quickest flight I'd ever been on. I arrived in Melbourne and got on the short shuttle bus to Southern Cross Station where I was greeted my old Banana farm compadres G.P. and Luca, where my Melbourne adventure would begin
So until next time stay safe and take care
