Day 59We grabbed a boat back to the ferry port as we had booked a ticket for the 9:30am ferry, only when we arrived at 8:30am we were told that the only ferry departing was at 11:30am....great, we had got up early for nothing! Day 56We travelled to another island called Koh Phi Phi Don and stayed at Rantee Cliff Beach Resort our accommodation was a bungalow right on the beach. Day 54 We parted company with our Cambodian friends and flew to the south of Thailand to an island called Phuket and stayed at Pineapple guesthouse. The guesthouse was run by an English owner and his Thai wife (unsurprisingly about half his age - they always are!). We walked around, grabbed some food and planned our trip around the islands. Day 48 So today we had a bus ticket for a 9 hour drive to Siem Reap which ended up being a 13 hour ride! We got up early and left at 8am then got to "Sidewalk Hotel" at about 9pm feeling very hungry and tired. We also witnessed the weirdest Cambodian children's tv programme on the bus (a midget cutting up a pig imitating a child demon, who was equally as weird) the Cambodian passengers absolutely loved this programme! Day 47 We got the boat back to Sihanoukville and decided to stay at "New Sea View Villa" for one more night and booked a bus to Siem Reap for the following day.
