We have now been in Arusha for a few days and have a little better idea of the layout of the city, what's available to furnish a home, and schooling options. We have spent these last few days meeting missionaries, seeing ministries and getting a better idea of the needs here in this part of the world. There seems to be a vibrant missionary community doing a myriad of different things.

We have connected with a wonderful couple from Australia who have been working in Nigeria for 9 years and are looking to relocate here. They also have 4 daughters, though they all are a bit younger than ours. We visited a CMF ministry who is bringing in bush pastors and church planters for a three month training where they are brought up in theology, leadership, vocational skills, farming etc. What a wonderful and holistic ministry that is very much in line with our hearts!
